The fish- and insect-eating great kiskadee, the tiny Inca dove and even the shy, turkeylike plain chachalaca have all taken up residence in towns.
In this paper, we document kleptoparasitism by Inca doves (Columbina inca) on red harvester ants (Pogonomyrmex barbatus).
We observed seven incidents of kleptoparasitism of Inca doves on red harvester ants over five different dates (Table 1).
